ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -- Police in Allentown are investigating a shooting that left four people injured on Tuesday evening.

According to Muhlenberg College Campus Police, the shooting happened at around 8 p.m. near the campus.

In response, the campus was put under lockdown until the incident was deemed complete. During the lockdown, Muhlenberg College Police Officers worked with the Allentown Police Department to respond to the incident.

Muhlenberg College Police say there is no ongoing threat to the campus community at this time. There is no word on the condition of those who were shot at this time.
