Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million sold in Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHTM) -- A retailer in Philadelphia has sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million for the Tuesday, Jan. 30 drawing.

According to the lottery, the ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 3-5-16-58-59, however, the yellow ball, 11, was not matched. The winning ticket was worth $1 million, less applicable withholding.

The Quick Stop Deli, who sold the ticket received a $5,000 selling bonus for selling the Mega Millions ticket.

More than 28,000 other PA Lottery Mega Millions® tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 7,200 tickets purchased with Megaplier.

Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
