FULTON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Thieves that damaged a tower site of a broadband provider left residents in the Fulton and Bedford counties areas without internet over the weekend.
Thieves who were trying to steal copper vandalized Crowsnest Broadband LLC's Gapsville tower, and tried cutting the tower's cables on Saturday night, the company said on Facebook.
This created an outage at the tower, impacting customers by the Bedford/Fulton County lines.
Crowsnest Broadband LLC is an internet service provider for parts of the central Pennsylvania area, according to its website.
Repairs were completed around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, restoring service to customers.
