HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)-- Pennsylvanians are invited to enter "Oh Say, Can You Sing?", the annual sing-off for a chance to perform live at the 2025 PA Farm Show.
From Jan. 4 through 11, the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg will feature an individual or group singing the national anthem live. Singers with the most votes might also get to sing at special events, including the opening ceremony on Jan. 4.
“Our 2025 Farm Show theme is Powering Pennsylvania," Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding said. "There’s no better way to start each day of the PA Farm Show than by hearing a powerful reminder of the pride and freedom that make our country, our commonwealth, and our agriculture industry great.”
To participate in the contest, Pennsylvanians of all ages, in groups or solo, must send a YouTube link of them singing The Star Spangled Banner without instruments via email to agcontests@pa.gov or upload their video to the comments of a post about the contest on Pennsylvania Farm Show Facebook page.
According to Redding, contestants have until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 17 to enter. Fans can vote on their favorite finalists via Facebook reactions (comments, likes, loves...) from Nov. 19 through Nov. 24.
Redding says ten finalists will be announced on Facebook and individually emailed the date they are scheduled to sing.
