STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Tenacious D is playing only five shows in the U.S. for "Rock D Vote" this year and a Pennsylvania venue has made the list.
Jack Black and Kyle Gass, who make up Tenacious D, will make a stop at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center Saturday, Oct. 26 with all proceeds being donated to Rock The Vote, the nonprofit's actual name. It supports voter registration, education, and rights.
You don't have to be 'Wonderboy' to be "high above the mucky muck" -- you can secure your tickets to the show starting Friday, June 28, at 10 a.m. by clicking here.
This will be the second time Tenacious D has teamed up with Rock The Vote. The first time was in 2020 with the release of their classic cover of "Time Warp" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Rock The Vote is a nonprofit that was founded in 1990 and focuses on getting younger voters to the polls. It made waves through its first decade by teaming up with MTV and a large number of top-selling rock bands.
