HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Police arrested a Huntingdon man Wednesday morning for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Christopher Krause - Huntingdon Borough Police Department

Christopher Krause, 32, was arrested after an investigation into Krause led police to believe he was possessing child sexual abuse material or CSAM. Phone records showed that CSAM was downloaded and shared from Krause's cell phone, at the registered address they searched.

Police seized his cell phone and various other electronic devices. Charges show officers found 11,187 images and 496 videos of child pornography, depicting children under the age of 10 performing sexual acts. Police said the images and videos were on a peer-to-peer sharing application.

According to the criminal complaint, Krause allegedly admitted to having a problem and wanting to get help for his child pornography addiction.

Krause is charged with possession of child pornography, dissemination, and criminal use of a communication facility.

Krause is in the Huntingdon County Jail with bail set at $250,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 10.
