ANNVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -- A rare and priceless copy of our nation's Declaration of Independence will soon be displayed in Lebanon County.

This weekend, a rare copy of the Declaration of Independence will be displayed at the Millard Mansion on 1 T376 in Annville, at the intersection of US Route 422 & Clear Spring Road.

This copy is just one of only two known to exist; the second copy resides at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

It is important to note that this copy has not been seen in public for over two years.

The process used to create this copy of the Declaration of Independence is called antistatic printing, which is believed to be the reason why the original engrossed Declaration, which is housed at the National Archives Museum in Washington, DC, is now virtually unreadable.

Tom Lingenfelter of Heritage Collectors Society, Inc. purchased the document at a lot sale and established the document's historical significance. He will be in attendance at the presentation event.

The public display of the document will take place on Saturday, March 23.
