(WHTM)-- With St. Patrick's Day this upcoming weekend and thousands of Pennsylvanias are expected to partake in festivities, Uber wants to help make sure that they stay safe.
Under the Decide to Ride initiative, Uber riders in central Pennsylvania can get vouchers for discounted rides from March 15 at 5 p.m. till March 18 at 10 a.m.
The initiative will give riders three $5 rides throughout the time period when they scan the QR code or enter "StStellaDay24" in the Uber app.
"If your St. Patrick's Day plans involve enjoying some adult beverages, please don’t drink and drive," West Lampeter Police Department said in a news release. "We hope you enjoy your festivities, but please do so responsibly!"
The initiative is brought together from a partnership between Anheuser-Busch, MADD, and Uber.
