WalletHub states that 28% of non-retired adults have not saved any money for retirement and living in the right place after someone retires can help make your money go further.

The website produced a report to determine which is the best state to retire. WalletHub took all 50 states and had 46 key factors to see which is the best state, from tax rates to medical care to dun activities.

According to the report, Pennsylvania came in at number 10 on the list. When talking about affordability, the state came in 35th and was ranked number eight when dealing with healthcare. Additionally, despite being ranked 10 as a whole, Pennsylvania ranked number two when ranked for quality of life, with Florida taking that top spot.

“Being retired brings freedom, but it also naturally is a time of financial constraint, with many seniors living on a fixed income. To make the most of your retirement savings, you should retire in a state where the cost of living and tax rates are friendly to retirees if you have the resources to. You should also consider factors like the quality of the state’s healthcare system and the abundance of activities that you enjoy," WalletHub analyst Cassandra Happe said.

The worst place to retire according to the list is the state of Kentucky, with the best being Florida.
