PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Pearl Jam, a 1990s grunge-era staple rock band, is slated to begin its 2024 tour in the Spring and two shows are scheduled for Pennsylvania.
The band will perform the shows at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 7 and on Monday, Sept. 9. Tickets for both dates go on sale Friday, Feb. 23. Special guest Glen Hansard will join Pearl Jam for the shows.
The 35 date tour kicks off in May and ends in November. Eddie Vedder and other members of the band will be making stops across North America and Europe before performing shows in New Zealand and Australia.
The 2024 tour will promote their upcoming 12th studio album "Dark Matter" which will release on April 19. The band formed in Seattle in the early 1990s and released their debut album "TEN" in 1991 featuring hits such as 'Even Flow,' 'Alive' and 'Jeremy.'
