(WHTM) — The City of Philadelphia has announced when the Eagles' celebration parade will take place.
According to a post on X, the city confirmed the Eagles celebration will be on Friday, February 14.
The post says the city and the Eagles will release more details soon. Philadelphia sports championship celebrations traditionally occur on Broad Street and the Eagles' last Super Bowl parade ended at the Art Museum.
The Eagles defeated the Chiefs, 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX. Quarterback Jalen Hurts won Super Bowl MVP with 221 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, as well as 72 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.
“Dealing with everything that came with the last Super Bowl, still leaving empty a little bit because as great as the performance was, it wasn’t enough to win,” Hurts said. “Going through those emotions, and processing those emotions and processing those things lit a great flame in me. It enhanced my desire to win significantly.”
