SHAMOKIN DAM, Pa. (WHTM) - Customers inside a Pennsylvania thrift store experienced a shocking sight after a car drove into the store on Monday afternoon.
Pennsylvania State Police in Selinsgrove say they responded to Community Aid Thrift Store in Monroe Township, Snyder County for a report of a vehicle into a building.
The silver Mazda was stationary before it "rapidly accelerated into the building," according to State Police.
The driver was not injured and while there were customers in the store, no one inside was hurt.
A photo on social media showed the vehicle having crashed through the front of the building and into an interior door, leaving bricks and wood strewn across the entry.
