(WHTM) -- Sunday is the last day for cash tolls on four bridges between Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) said four high traffic volume toll bridges will stop accepting cash for payment of tolls Monday.
Two of those bridges -- Interstate 78 and Route 22 -- are in the Lehigh Valley. The other two are the Trenton-Morrisville Bridge and Interstate 80 at the Delaware Water Gap.
Cash service for those bridges ends at 11 p.m. Sunday.
E-Z Pass and Toll By Plate will be the only payment options moving forward.
The DRJTBC began transitioning to cashless tolling in 2019 and launched a system-wide toll by plate option in January 2024
