BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Two Pennsylvania men will spend the next several years in prison after they posed as sheriff deputies and then proceeded to rob a home after tying up the resident.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office said Zbigniew Still, 22, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 19 of Glenside, were sentenced Wednesday to 8 to 16 years in state prison for the home-invasion robbery. They were facing robbery and burglary charges.

"I am proud of the great work done in this case," District Attorney Jennifer Schorn said. "Thankfully home invasion robberies are exceptionally rare in Bucks County.  However, when they do happen, law enforcement  will devote countless resources to identify and apprehend the perpetrators and we will prosecute to the fullest extent."

The robbery happened May 25, 2023, at a home in the 100 block of Reliance Place in Telford, Bucks County.

The DA's Office says Still and Fort, along with an unidentified third man, dressed as sheriff deputies, arrived at the home in a rented vehicle claiming they had a warrant. They then forced their way inside and were armed with a firearm.

The victim was zip-tied and moved within the house to another spot. The trio proceeded to steal two firearms, a large amount of marijuana, $4,000 and clothes, the DA's Office says. Police were contacted after the men left the home.

The third suspect was never found, according to the DA's Office, and the stolen firearms were never recovered.

Hilltown Township Police handled the investigation.
