PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) -- America's #2 restaurant brand in the Mexican fast-casual category announced plans to open several new locations across Pennsylvania.
The popular Mexican fast-casual restaurant brand QDOBA announced its plan Monday to develop dozens of new restaurant locations nationwide. Franchise operators Cafua Management Company and Mountain View Management plan to open five of those new restaurants in Pennsylvania.

According to QDOBA, the Mexican franchise currently has about 800 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. The franchise is most known for offering customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and salads.
According to QDOBA, it had a 7.7% comp sales increase for its fiscal year ending in September 2024, which is on top of last year's 6.3% comp sales increase.
In 2024 alone, QDOBA invested nearly $30 million in restaurant-level capacity and technology upgrades, as well as remodeling 80 company restaurants.
