Philadelphia is getting a portal that will let us see into another (not yet announced) part of the world.

This art installation, previously seen in New York, Poland, Lithuania, Ireland, and Brazil, connects people and lets them take a moment out of their day to see what life is like on the other side of the world.

The Portals project was created in 2016 by Lithuanian artist, Benediktas Gylys. "Meeting humanity as it is, for the first time. Portals were born from a feeling that we humans have more to share than what separates us; and from a sense that we are all interconnected on this planet of ours. The roots of the project go back to 2016 and marked the beginning of a global movement in both the physical and virtual worlds.", said the Portals website.

The Portal is currently set up in Love Park and more information is set to be released this week.
