Winning Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $1 million sold in Chester County

(WHTM)-- A winning Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off ticket worth $1 million was sold in Chester County on Thursday, Oct. 3.

According to the PA Lottery, the winning Jumbo Bucks scratch-off ticket was sold at an Exxon at 851 South High Street in West Chester. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Jumbo Bucks is a $10 game that offers prizes up to $1 million. Players can learn more about the game on the Lottery's website or the mobile app, the lottery said.

Scratch-off tickets are distributed randomly, and prizes expire one year from the game's end date, posted on the PA Lottery website, according to the PA Lottery.

All Lottery prizes of more than $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
