(WHTM)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike is enhancing its customer payment options by adding new digital ways to pay.
The Turnpike will now offer Apple Pay and Google Pay to customers, allowing them a more convenient way to pay tolls, according to the Turnpike.
“These new payment options deliver what the majority of our customers want: seamless and convenient mobility,” said PA Turnpike CEO Mark Compton. “Our customers have a clear preference for electronic payments, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is dedicated to understanding and meeting their evolving needs.”
They said customers will now have access to mobile payment options through the PA Turnpike on-the-go account management app, PA Toll Pay.
The app is available in the Apple Store and on Google Play and will give customers easy access to transactions, monthly statements, and various other services, per the Turnpike.
Additionally, both payment options can be used to make one-time payments, but not auto-replenishment.
