Former President Donald Trump continues his campaign tour with another visit to the Keystone State, this time in the northwest corner.
The Republican presidential candidate will be stopping in Erie on Sept. 29 with a rally at the Bayfront Convention Center, 1 Sassafras Pier. According to Trump's website, doors open at 10 a.m. with the event kicking off at 2 p.m.
Trump's website states his next rally in Pennsylvania is slated for Oct. 5 in Butler, approximately 100 miles south of Erie, returning to the area after the attempted assassination attempt in July.
Erie Democrats held a rally of their own on Saturday ahead of Trump's visit at the convention center talking about important women's issues, such as reproductive rights, as well as building support for the upcoming November election.
Trump’s running mate JD Vance previously held a rally at Team Hardinger Transporation warehouse on Aug. 28 talking to voters about the economy and trucking industry.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate Gov. Tim Walz also made a stop to Erie back on September 5 to rally his supporters.
