MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) - Pennsylvania's agriculture leaders on Thursday announced the theme of the 2025 PA Farm Show.
Next year's theme will be "Powering Pennsylvania" with festivities kicking off on January 4 and running through January 11 at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.
"It recognizes the unity of our farmers, our food processors, certainly our producers and policy makers and consumers in the shared commitment to harness this agricultural force that sustains and enriches our Keystone State," Pennsylvania Ag Secretary Russell Redding said.
The theme reveal was at Oregon Dairy in Manheim Township, Lancaster County. The business has been family-owned for its entirety, which will be 50 years in a couple months.
"We help power Pennsylvania by providing not only food, but also food production knowledge, which in turn hopefully empowers people to make wise food choices as they understand where their food comes from," said Oregon Dairy co-owner Maria Forry.
The annual event brings hundreds of thousands of people to Harrisburg for the nation's largest indoor agricultural exposition with live animals, food, contests, and events.
More than 600,000 Pennsylvanians have an agriculture-related job.
According to the Farm Show, agriculture contributes $132.5 billion to Pennsylvania's economy every year. Last year's theme was "Connecting Our Communities."
