Former "Jackass" star Bam Margera has been sentenced to prison in Pennsylvania after he violated his probation.
According to Pennsylvania Court Records, 44-year-old Brandon "Bam" Margera was placed behind bars at the Chester County prison on September 18.
Margera is scheduled for a "violations of probation/parole" hearing on September 23.
This all comes after Margera was sentenced to six months probation after pleading guilty to assaulting his brother, making threats to his family, and other disorderly conduct when he visited his family for two weeks in June.
According to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Margera was arrested on September 18 by PA State Police and was charged with "Misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance, Summary Reckless Driving, and related charges.”
In a statement provided to the Inquirer, Margera's attorneys, Adam Leasure, Michael T. van der Veen, and William J. Brennan, said, “We are in the process of straightening this all out. Just like every citizen in this country, Mr. Margera is presumed innocent.”
