(WHTM) - Democrat Janelle Stelson out-fundraised incumbent Republican Congressman Scott Perry according to the campaign's July quarterly reports.

Stelson more than doubled the contributions brought in by Patriots for Perry, raising $1,339,306.96 to Perry's $623,003.44 from April 4 to June 30.

To date in this election cycle, Perry has out-fundraised Stelson while running unopposed in the Republican primary. According to campaign finance records, Perry has brought in $2,446,040.67.

Stelson faced a contested Democratic primary with five other candidates on the April 23 ballot. She received nearly 44% of the vote, nearly twice the support as her top competitor Mike O'Brien.

Thus far Stelson has raised $1,895,769.20 and has more than $1.1 million cash on hand.

Perry has more than $788,000 cash on hand as of June 30 with less than four months until the primary election.

The Stelson campaign reported receiving $165,950 from political committees (such as PACs) during the last three months while Perry reported $49,050 during that time.

A June Franklin & Marshall poll showed the race within the margin of error with Perry leading Stelson 45% to 44% with 11% undecided. The survey was taken amid a New York jury convicting former President Donald Trump on business-related charges. Before the verdict, Perry led by 7% and following the verdict Stelson led by 8% among those surveyed.
