PENNSYLVANIA (WTHM)-- Ten more happy hour hours could be spent at bars and restaurants in Pennsylvania after House Bill 829 passes in both chambers.
House Bill 829 calls for changes to beer, liquor, and food sales. Discounted combo meals with alcohol and an increase from 14 to 24 hours of happy hour per week are some of the possible changes restaurants could see.
The amended liquor code passed in both chambers but still requires approval in the State House before landing on Governor Josh Shapiro's desk.
The Pennsylvania Licensed Beverage and Tavern Association has been spreading awareness of the bill on social media and strongly encouraging Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro to consider signing it.
