ENOLA, Pa. (WHTM) - Two dozen Midstate children are on the move, thanks to a life-changing program.

Twenty-four children held an indoor parade on their new adaptive bikes Friday at the Capital Area Intermediate Unit.

They received their knew wheels from Pittsburgh-based Variety, The Children's Charity.

Each year, the group meets with disabled children and works with them on what kind of bike would work with them.

Becca Zettlemoyer's daughter, Allie, received her second bike today after she outgrew the first.

"Her first bike, she got on it and she soared, able to ride it herself and pedal," Becca Zettlemoyer said. "She has an older brother and they ride bikes together."

"We go through a process to fit them for the equipment, make sure its good for them," Tom Baker, CEO of Variety, said. "It's made and built for them."

Variety also made five adaptive strollers for Midstate families.
