(WHTM)-- Pennsylvania filmmakers want the state to lure more productions to shoot here.

They came to the state capitol asking lawmakers to increase funding to Pennsylvania's film tax credit program from $100 million to $300 million. Film crews that spend at least 60% of their budget in Pennsylvania can get a 25% tax credit.

Movies made decades ago are still bringing tourists to Pennsylvania.

"We still see who come to Philadelphia to make the Rocky Steps run part of their visit and the small diner where Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence sat in this building," Executive Director for Greater Philadelphia Film Office Sharon Pinkenson said. "Silver Linings Playbook continues to have visitors that want to sit in the very same booth."

Two projects filming this year in Pennsylvania are season three of "Mayor of Kingstown" starring Jeremy Renner in Pittsburgh and the movie "Task" - filming in the Philadelphia area with Mark Ruffalo.
