(WHTM)-- Many doorbell cameras in four states automatically turned on in the middle of night.

And they recorded a bright fireball lighting up the skies Wednesday at 3:45 a.m. The American Meteor Society took 60 calls right after it happened.

The suspected meteor was seen in Philadelphia and Atlantic City as well as Delaware and New York.
